Ras Ghanada Channel Extension & Al Sadr to Altaweela Dredging and Reclamation Works, Abu Dhabi - UAE Ras Ghanada Channel Extension (Site 1) is located 55 km north east of Abu Dhabi and the works involve the dredging of an extension to the channel to a depth of -6m ACD and to stockpile the materials from the dredging to the designated reclamation area. The work method is to pump the dredged materials in a stockpile area about 600 m x 300 m located to the East of the existing Channel extension. The dredged materials in the reclamation shall be removed by trucking continuously during the process of dredging operations |
