MEDCO owns and operates , amongst others, the Qatari-registered heavy duty cutter suction dredge "Al Mahaar". Recently we re-engineered and modified our largest cutter suction dredger to enable both deep and shallow water operations. As well owns and operates the largest split trailing suction hopper dredger "Vlaanderen XX" and CSD Khalis 2
Furthermore, MEDCO is seriously considering enlarging its fleet by the addition of 2 to 3 cutter suction dredgers, 2 trailer suction hopper dredgers and complement this with the neccessary authority fleet of multicat, barges, etc
These and other planned fleet expansions continue to favorably enhance MEDCO's position and increase its competitiveness in the Gulf region even more. |
